The Screw Presses KUGLER® series Ring-Press (S-RS series) achieve throughputs of up to 100 m³ / h and 200 kg TS / h (at 0.2% TS in the inlet) or 20 m³ / h and 1,000 kg TS / h (at 5% TS in the inlet).
These screw presses are equipped with an innovative, self-cleaning ring disk system and without any high-pressure flushing, compressed air or brushes. This means even less wear, electricity and water consumption than conventional screw presses with strainer basket. In addition, they are significantly space-saving due to the modular construction with several parallel cylinder units.
The KUGLER® Ring-Press is equally suitable for sludge from sewage treatment plants and industrial production (including grease / oil sludge). It achieves a good and stable drainage result – with up to 90% less time spent, water and electricity than centrifuges, wire belt or chamber filter presses.
Our multi-disc screw presses are made with a filter element
equipped with fixed and movable rings. The snail pumps the mud
and at the same time moves the rings against each other.
The gaps between the rings and the helix are designed to gradually narrow in the direction of the sludge cake release, and the internal pressure increases due to the volume compression effect, thereby thickening and dewatering the slurry. The self-cleaning mechanism prevents blockages.
Our screw presses
• Dewater from 0.2% TS (no pre-thickening necessary)
• Work 24 hours without supervision
• Are clean and water-saving
• Consume very little power due to slow rotation
• Work with the least amount of wear
• Are space-saving, quiet and low-vibration
• Are extremely robust – even with oil and grease sludge
• Are easy to maintain (built-in inspection module)
To sum up, the KUGLER® Ring-Press is:
• Easy to use and effective in performance
• Of high quality
• Saves operational costs
• Sustainable – protects the environment
Optionally, we also offer our customers:
• Complete packages with flocculants
• Customer service (including maintenance, spare parts, warranty, training)
• Mobile container solutions (no space requirement in buildings, no building application)
• Attractive rental models (even pay off if you keep your centrifuge)
• Short-term pilots (also with biodegradable flocculants)
